Last updated: 6th March 2026
Welcome to Five Winds Tai Chi. These terms outline the conditions under which students attend classes, participate in training, and purchase memberships or courses.
By attending a class or purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms.
1. Participation
Tai Chi is a physical activity involving movement, balance, and coordination.
By attending classes, students confirm that they are fit to participate in light to moderate physical exercise. If you have any medical concerns or conditions that may affect your participation, please consult a medical professional before attending.
Students participate at their own pace and should always work within their personal limits.
2. Membership and Payments
Class memberships and starter packs may be purchased online through our secure payment provider.
Membership payments are processed on a recurring basis where applicable. Payment confirms your place within the class structure.
Prices and membership options may change over time, but existing members will be notified of any adjustments.
3. Cancellations
Membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the customer portal or by contacting Five Winds Tai Chi.
Once cancelled, no further payments will be taken.
4. Missed Classes
Missed classes cannot normally be refunded.
However, where possible, students may attend an alternative scheduled class during the same week if space allows.
5. Class Environment
Five Winds Tai Chi aims to maintain a calm, respectful, and welcoming training environment.
The instructor reserves the right to refuse participation or ask a student to leave a class if behaviour is disruptive or compromises the safety or comfort of others.
6. Liability
Students acknowledge that participation in Tai Chi classes involves physical movement and that all exercise carries some level of risk.
By attending classes, students accept responsibility for their own health and wellbeing while participating.
Five Winds Tai Chi will take reasonable care to provide safe instruction and training conditions.
7. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the Five Winds Tai Chi website.
